This last weekend, Dr Bell presented preliminary data on the CALIBER study at an international conference in Chicago. This is the first randomized study comparing LINX to double dose PPIs in patients that suffer from regurgitation. The results thus far are OUTSTANDING!! 92% of LINX patients’ regurgitation resolved, while only 8% of double dose medication patients had resolution of their regurgitation. Full results to be released early next year, however, we can already say that the LINX controls regurgitation symptoms far better than medications. After the presentation, Dr Bell was interviewed by GI Surgery News about his presentation.
