Our surgeons have performed over 500 LINX cases to date, and over 3500 reflux procedures. Dr. Bell was the first surgeon in the state of Colorado to perform the LINX procedure in 2012. Dr. Woodworth was the first surgeon in Northwest Arkansas to place the LINX device in 2016. Among the top requested foregut surgeons in the United States, Dr. Woodworth, and Dr. Bell, continue to lead the way in advancing surgical techniques and proctoring surgeons. They have drawn enormous attention to the Robotics Surgical Program at Sky Ridge Medical Center and are instrumental in the collaboration of advanced technological and educational opportunities for surgeons on both a local and national platform.

Dr Bell is a founding physician of the newly formed American Foregut Society. This society’s mission is to advocate personalized treatment strategies for patients with foregut disease through a collaborative partnership across disciplines.

That’s right- surgery can solve your reflux issues. Reflux is caused by a valve that does not work properly, it is not related to too much acid production. The only way to fix reflux is to fix the problem- the valve.
